Bentley Mulliner Unveils Bathurst-Inspired Continental GT S Duo
Automakers are usually creating special editions to commemorate wins from the afar past but the latest Mulliner specials from Bentley were designed for something a lot increasingly recent. Both cars full-length the #7 number on the grille and Beluga woebegone accents on the roof, mirror caps, between the taillights, and on the lower bumper area. The Bathurst logo can be found on the headrests, while other special touches include the “one of two” treadplates, the outline of the Bathurst track on the carbon-fiber dashboard, and the names of the racing drivers who crush the victorious #7 printed on the part-way console. Finally, each of the two owners will moreover get a 1:18 scale model of the Continental GT3 #7 and a framed artefact.
There are no mechanical changes to the Bentley Continental GT S which is the sportiest trim of the V8 lineup inspired by the W12-powered Speed performance flagship. This ways that the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 produces 542 hp (405 kW / 550 PS) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque. Just like the standard model, the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint is completed in 4 seconds.
