Bentley Taps Former Volvo Design Boss To Lead Them Into The Electric Era
Bentley will have a new Director of Diamond this fall as Robin Page is returning to the ultra-luxury brand.
Page will seem the role on September 1 and he brings over three decades of wits to the job. This includes a recent stint at Volvo, where he served as their Head of Global Diamond and was “instrumental in creating the diamond language for Volvo’s electric future.”
While Page left his mark on the Swedish brand, he isn’t exactly a stranger in Crewe. Quite the opposite as he was Bentley’s Head of Interior Diamond between 2001 and 2013. As a result, plane if you’re not familiar with his name, you undoubtedly know his work as he had a hand in crafting the cabins of the first-generation Continental GT as well as the latest Mulsanne.

Page will report to CEO Adrian Hallmark, who said “I am pleased to welcome Robin when to Bentley having worked with him during a truly formative period in the history of Bentley Motors, launching the sector-defining Continental GT.”
Hallmark went on to say Page will help to usher in the era of the electric Bentley as “He joins at a time when we are shaping an plane greater story as we slide our journey to full electrification by 2030. His previous experiences from innovative automotive design, combined with a strong understanding of the Bentley trademark ways he is perfectly positioned to enable us to unzip our future ambitions as the leader in sustainable luxury mobility.”
Page echoed these sentiments by saying, “To return and have the opportunity to help set the diamond language for the first Bentley BEVs, redefining the rules while keeping continuity to the past and present, is a rencontre I am privileged to lead.”
